All photographs featured on the website must be of Butterflies, moths, their immature stages and habitats that occur within Great Britain and Ireland.
Please do not post photographs of non-native species or photographs from private or public butterfly houses. However images of natural migrant Butterflies are also welcome.
Some images that feature on the site were not taken within the UK but represent behaviour or stages which are the same as those in Britain.

The 1,704 members of the flickr group have between us shared well over 47,000 photographs of Butterflies, moths and their immature stages such as caterpillars. There are also photographs of butterfly habitats, foodplants, predators, parasites and even unusual aberrations!
